"So you think you’re a fighter, a individual of the martial prowess. do you kid? Well let’s have a look see at you. You look able enough. How’s your weapon’s training? I can teach you a great many things but some just work better with the proper weapon. I personally enjoy anything with a wooden handle. I think they call them hafted weapons; hammers, pikes, and axes. I like them in one hand or two. I find the best way to deal with an enemy is crushing force. Now some folks they are keen on blades. They like the cut and flow, the jab and slash. A sword is a precise weapon to be certain. There are lots of precise movements made possible by the elegant craft of a blade. Then again maybe I’m reading you all wrong. Maybe you would rather craft the blade. Do you fancy yourself a smith? Crafting armor and weapons learning the equipment before you learn of its use. Well there is always want for that sort of work. Prove any skill and you won’t be shy of jobs. Course there are those who don’t fancy weapons of any sort. Now that’s one people I just don’t understand. Why use your hand when you can grip a weapon. Course weapons aren’t the only combat tools you can grab hold of there is always shields. Those combatants operate under an entirely different approach to combat where the first and only goal is to stay alive. They got some in their number that are real good too. I’ve seen some of those shield users take more punishment then most. A real tough lot they are mentally and physically. You might be one of them but I can’t really say. Only you know what path you’ll take; whether you will fall into one of the previously mentioned categories or whether you will create your own.
